Misti Balzer, LM
Misti is the owner of Growing Families Midwifery Service. She is a mother of six wonderful children and wife to a very supportive husband. Her mission is to bring joy, love and safety during one of the most treasured memories of life.
Misti graduated from a continuous three year program at The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, Florida and passed the national board exam in 2010. She gained clinical experience interning with Kerri Johnson in Saint Augustine and Michelle Gawne at Heart2Heart Birth Center in Sanford, Florida. Misti has attended over 100 births during her clinical experience and has delivered over 700 babies. She established Growing Families Birth Center in 2011 and closed the center in 2018. She continues to offer prenatal care and home birth to the community.
